Family Support Services

All clients enter the CFC program through our Family Support Services department. Through a thoughtful intake, assessment, and referral process, our staff is able to determine client needs and address concerns through a wide range of support services. Once immediate needs such as food insecurity and wellness are met, our team continues to support families through additional CFC programs.

Services include:

  • Intake, assessment and referral assistance
  • Emergency food assistance
  • Certified navigators who help clients through the Texas Health & Human Services Texas Community Partner Program providing enrollment support for food assistance through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), healthcare assistance through Medicaid and Medicare, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Healthy Texas Women (HTW),Cash assistance through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
  • Community Emergency Response Team that includes certified members through the Mayor’s Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security who are capable of performing basic disaster response operations in the event of an emergency or disaster.
  • Onsite community health and wellness events that provide immunizations, vision screenings, flu shots, blood pressure examinations, and monthly nutrition education.

  • Parent/ Guardian of 36-month-old or younger.

Agency Service Card Registration

Agency Service Card Registration:

We encourage all clients to register for a 3-month pantry service card. To apply for a 3-month service card, please bring the following information to your appointment:

  • Identification (18 and older, i.e.: Texas ID, passport, or birth certificate)
  • Birth Certificates (Children under 18 )
  • Proof of Residence (ie: utility bill, contract lease)
  • Proof of Income (ie: latest 2 pay stubs, letter from employer, SSI)
  • $5.00 one time administrative fee

Our registration office is open Monday – Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Pantry Services

Our pantry is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00pm*
