Community Family Centers Receives $325,000 Grant from
Houston Endowment
Community Family Centers – Centros Familiares de la Comunidad (CFC) announced today that Houston Endowment awarded CFC a $325,000 grant as an organization supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion. This grant will improve the physical infrastructure and provide IT upgrades for CFC to help us better serve our clients.
President and CEO Maritza Guerrero, upon learning of support from Houston Endowment, stated: “We are so grateful for the generosity of Houston Endowment and their commitment to organizations like Community Family Centers.”

Community Family Centers (CFC) was started 50 years ago by a small group of concerned citizens who understood the great need for social services in their neighborhood. Throughout our time in Houston’s East End, CFC has grown and transformed into an organization that focuses on ending cycles of generational poverty by providing educational resources and basic need services.
