STUDENT'S NAME: CINDY L. LEVEL: PRE-GED
experience at Community Family Centers gave me the opportunity to finish my
high school education by completing the Adult Education’s GED program.
I took the GED class and passed my GED exam on my first attempt! I thereafter
was able to secure employment with CFC, and while employed, I applied for a
scholarship through the Houston Read Commission’s Literacy Scholarship
I was awarded the scholarship and enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician program at HCC. I eventually completed my studies and graduated from the program and now work at a county hospital in Harris County. The hospital is paying for me to continue studying, and I am planning to continue my education in the field of Pharmacy. My ultimate goal is to one day become a Pharmacist.
I am very grateful to Community Family Centers for giving me the opportunity of accomplishing one of my main goals in life.
