Community Family Centers - Strengthening Families and Enriching Lives

Future Plans

To continue its long-term pattern of growth and development in an effort to better serve the families, CFC launched the“Capacity Building Campaign for Community Services and Education” in 2004.

Funds raised through this campaign will result in the construction of two new facilities to serve East End residents. The first is La Casa de Los Niños – Barbara Bush—an early childhood education center. The second is the John P. McGovern, M.D.Community Sports and Recreation Building—a recreational center to provide after-school andsummer activities for at-risk youth. A portion of the funds raised will support programming at each of these facilities for three years, as well as supporting our Adult Education programs housed at our current facility.
